The LEDE Model LV3111 (6-inch) is a premier isolation valve engineered specifically for fire protection and high-pressure water distribution systems. This resilient seated gate valve is designed for use with Schedule 40 (SCH40) grooved piping, offering a significantly faster installation time compared to traditional flanged or threaded connections.
Constructed from high-strength Ductile Iron (ASTM A536), the valve features an Outside Screw and Yoke (OS&Y) configuration. The rising stem provides a critical safety benefit by allowing operators to see at a glance if the valve is open or closed. The wedge is fully encapsulated in EPDM rubber, ensuring a bubble-tight seal and a smooth, unobstructed flow path (Full Bore) that minimizes pressure drop across the system.
