Description
The LifeCo Conventional Heat Detector is an advanced point-type thermal device engineered for locations where dust, steam, or airborne cooking vapors prohibit the use of standard smoke detectors. Operating on a wide non-polarized 12V/24V DC conventional fire zone loop, the detector monitors environmental air profiles using a high-accuracy Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) thermistor. Once the ambient temperature reaches a preset safety threshold of 57°C to 60°C (Class A2S), the onboard microprocessor registers an alarm condition and latches the device into a hard alarm state. It features a durable, fire-retardant PC/ABS enclosure with an electronic-free installation base, dual 360° visual alert LEDs, and a parallel terminal link for external remote indicator lamps.
