The Maxlogic ML-1110/M (and optional isolator model ML-1110.SCI/M) is an intelligent addressable optical smoke detector engineered specifically for commercial shipping, offshore platforms, and marine vessel environments. Utilizing an infrared light-scattering optical chamber controlled by an internal microcontroller, the detector continuously monitors ambient air for visible smoke particles produced by smoldering fires while rejecting interference from vibration, humidity, and electromagnetic noise. It features soft addressing via a handheld address programmer, communication interrupt capability that alerts the control panel within 1.5 seconds during a fire event, twin status LEDs that glow Red for fire and Yellow for pollution or fault states, and full compliance with EN 54-7, EN 54-17 (SCI models), and Lloyd’s Register / Türk Loydu marine type approval standards.
