The MSA Altair 5X (Pumped Version, Monochrome Display) is a rugged portable multi-gas instrument manufactured by MSA Safety for confined space entry, industrial hygiene, emergency response, and hazardous area monitoring. Capable of simultaneously measuring up to 6 gases (typically %LEL combustibles, O2, H2S, CO, and optional toxic/exotic gases), the detector utilizes high-performance MSA XCell micro-electronic sensors that deliver response times under 15 seconds and extended operational life.
