The Nortech NG-609 is a conventional repeater panel designed to provide remote status monitoring for Nortech NG series fire alarm systems in multi-entry or large-scale buildings. It replicates the visual indicators of the master control panel, allowing staff and emergency services to identify the location of a fire or fault from secondary locations such as security stations or reception desks.

  • Remote System Control: Allows staff to silence or reset the fire alarm system from a secondary location, which is critical for large sites where the main panel is installed in a plant room or basement.
  • Full Status Mirroring: Features high-visibility LEDs that provide a real-time “mirror” of the main panel’s status, including zonal fire and fault indications.
  • Supervised Communication: The RS485 link is constantly monitored; if the communication cable is damaged, the main panel will immediately report a “Repeater Fault.”
  • Day/Night Status Indication: Reflects whether the main system is currently operating in Day or Night mode, ensuring consistency across all monitoring points.
  • User-Level Security: Access to the controls (Silence/Reset) is usually restricted via a key-switch or code entry to prevent unauthorized interference with the fire system.
