The Nortech NGA-403 is an intelligent, analogue addressable multi-sensor detector designed for the Nortech NGA-600 and NGA-800 series fire alarm systems. By integrating two sensing elements?photoelectric and thermal?into a single unit, the NGA-403 offers superior detection capabilities compared to single-sensor devices. The internal microprocessor uses complex algorithms to analyze signals from both sensors simultaneously, allowing it to detect “cool” smoldering fires (via the smoke sensor) and high-energy “hot” fires (via the heat sensor) with equal efficiency.
