The Nortech NGA-IDB is a high-security addressable detector base that provides a dedicated short-circuit isolator for every sensor point, ensuring maximum system integrity for NGA series fire networks. By automatically detecting and disconnecting faulted cable sections, it prevents a single short circuit from disabling the entire loop, maintaining communication with all other devices in accordance with BS 5839 and EN 54 standards.
