The Omex OM-0316-2 is a point-type conventional heat detector designed to deliver accurate thermal monitoring in environments where smoke detectors are prone to nuisance alarms, such as kitchens, boiler rooms, and warehouses. Powered via a standard 24V DC loop, the device employs an internal 8-bit intelligent processor utilizing advanced algorithm maps to cross-reference temperature changes and effectively eliminate false activations. When ambient heat crosses the designated thermal threshold, the detector latches into an alarm state, signaling the main control panel while lighting up high-visibility dual red LEDs. It comes complete with a matching detachable installation base that simplifies field wiring and long-term diagnostic testing.
