The Potter PAD100-4DB and PAD100-6DB (Part Numbers: 3992625 / 3992626) are addressable detector mounting bases manufactured by Potter Electric Signal Company for its PAD100 line of intelligent addressable smoke, heat, and multi-sensor detectors. Available in 4-inch (PAD100-4DB) and 6-inch (PAD100-6DB) diameters, these bases provide a secure mechanical and electrical interface between the signaling line circuit (SLC) and the detector head. Constructed from high-impact, flame-retardant white plastic, the bases feature heavy-duty screw terminals for fast loop conductor termination and include built-in locking tab mechanisms to prevent unauthorized detector head removal. The 6-inch model covers larger electrical junction box cutouts to deliver a clean aesthetic finish across commercial, industrial, and institutional ceiling installations.
