Description
The Potter PAD100-SIM Single Input Module is an addressable monitoring module designed to supervise a single Class B initiating device circuit on Potter fire alarm systems. Operating directly on the Potter PAD protocol SLC loop at 24V DC, this compact module uses an end-of-line resistor to continuously monitor normally open contact initiating devices like manual pull stations, sprinkler flow switches, and tamper switches for alarm and fault conditions. It features simple DIP switch addressing, an integrated visual status LED that blinks during normal communication and glows steady in alarm, and an ultralow standby current consumption of 240 µA. Designed to mount directly inside a standard single-gang or 4-inch square electrical box, it provides reliable, dedicated input monitoring for commercial fire alarm installations.
