The Potter PAD100-ZM Zone Module is an addressable device designed to connect and supervise two-wire conventional smoke detectors on a Potter addressable fire alarm system. Operating on the Potter PAD protocol SLC loop at 24V DC with an external 24V DC auxiliary power connection, this module converts a zone of conventional two-wire smoke detectors or normally open initiating devices into an addressable point. It continuously monitors the conventional circuit wiring using an end-of-line resistor to detect alarm, open circuit, and ground fault conditions. Featuring DIP switch addressing, a built-in visual LED indicator to display communication and alarm status, low standby current consumption, and compatibility with standard 4-inch square electrical boxes, it provides an efficient solution for retrofitting conventional zones into modern Potter addressable life safety systems.
