Our FD60 Fire Door is a premium passive fire protection solution designed to compartmentalize buildings and provide a critical 60-minute window for safe evacuation. Constructed with a 54mm thick high-density core and reinforced hardwood frames, each unit is rigorously tested to BS 476 Part 22 or BS EN 1634-1 standards. Available as a complete “doorset” including pre-hung frames and fire-rated ironmongery, these doors ensure that structural integrity is maintained even under extreme thermal stress. When specified as an “FD60S,” the assembly includes integrated cold-smoke seals to prevent the passage of toxic gases, which are responsible for the majority of fire-related casualties.
