Our fire-rated louver doors provide the ideal solution for rooms requiring constant airflow, such as mechanical rooms, electrical closets, and boiler rooms, without compromising fire barriers. Each door is equipped with a UL-listed fusible link louver system; under normal conditions, it allows for maximum ventilation, but in the event of a fire, the heat-sensitive link melts, automatically closing the steel slats to create a solid fire shield. Built from heavy-duty galvanized steel, these doors ensure your facility remains ventilated, secure, and fully compliant with building safety codes.

Key Features
Fusible Link Technology: The core safety feature. A heat-sensitive link melts at 165?F (74?C), causing spring-loaded blades to snap shut and lock, instantly turning a ventilated door into a solid fire barrier.
Airtight Smoke Seal: When closed, the interlocking Z-blade design provides a tight seal to prevent the passage of toxic smoke and flames.
Dual-Functionality: Provides up to 45% – 50% free air area for constant ventilation of high-heat equipment while maintaining certified fire integrity.
Corrosion Resistance: Manufactured from galvanized or “Rustec” steel, making them suitable for both internal mechanical rooms and external plant room applications.
Security Integration: Despite the louvers, the door remains high-security with reinforced internal stiffeners and multi-point locking compatibility.
Tamper-Proof Design: Screws and fasteners are typically located on the non-secure (interior) side to prevent unauthorized removal of the louver panel.
