Description
Our fire-rated sliding doors offer a practical alternative to traditional hinged doors, especially in areas with limited swing space or extra-wide openings. Designed for industrial plants, warehouses, and parking basements, these doors remain in a “normally open” position to facilitate high-traffic flow and material movement. In the event of a fire, a fail-safe counterweight or motorized system is triggered by the building’s fire alarm or a 74?C fusible link, ensuring the door slides shut to create a certified fire barrier. Available in single, bi-parting, or telescopic configurations, they provide 60 to 240 minutes of certified integrity and insulation.

Automatic Fail-Safe Closing: Triggered by an electromagnet connected to the fire alarm or a backup thermal fusible link that melts at 68?C to 74?C.
Space Efficiency: Horizontal travel eliminates the need for a “swing zone,” maximizing usable floor space near the opening.
Telescopic & Bi-Parting Options: Can be configured to cover massive widths (up to 12 meters) while requiring minimal side-room for storage (stacking).
Gravity/Counterweight Mechanism: Does not rely on electricity to close; a mechanical counterweight ensures the door shuts even during a total power failure.
Intumescent “Maze” Seals: Special perimeter profiles with expanding seals that block the passage of hot gases and smoke.
Optional Wicket (Pass) Door: Can include an integrated swinging “pedestrian door” within the sliding leaf for emergency egress without moving the entire slider.
