The Protec 6000/ZAI Addressable Flush Mounted Zone Alarm Interface Unit is an intelligent addressable module designed to integrate conventional detection zones and alarm sounder circuits into Protec 6000 fire alarm systems. Powered via an auxiliary 24V DC supply, this flush-mounting interface supports a zone of up to 20 conventional detectors while driving a monitored alarm output circuit up to 1A for sounders and notification appliances. It continuously monitors both the conventional detection circuit and the sounder wiring for open and short fault conditions, ensuring high reliability across commercial life safety installations. Featuring an integrated short-circuit isolator to protect loop signal continuity, secure FAST addressing, and an onboard LED status indicator, it provides an ideal retrofit solution for expanding addressable fire protection using conventional field wiring.
