The Protec 6000/HUSH Addressable Loop Powered Local Control Module is an intelligent interface device designed for localized fire alarm sounder control and false alarm suppression in multi-occupancy buildings. Operating directly on the Protec 6000 series addressable loop without requiring external power supplies, this module provides a localized silence (hush) button and visual status indication for residential units, hotel rooms, or student accommodation. When an alarm is initiated locally, occupants can press the Hush button to mute local sounders for a predetermined time to clear nuisance smoke, while the main panel continues to monitor the zone. If the fire condition persists after the hush period or spreads, the module automatically overrides the local silence to activate full system evacuation.
