Description
Our UL Range of fire doors is engineered to comply with the most stringent life-safety codes. Each door undergoes a rigorous dual-stage test: first, a fire endurance test in a furnace reaching up to 1925?F, followed immediately by the Hose Stream Test to ensure the door does not shatter or displace under the cooling and erosion of high-pressure water. Available in 20, 45, 60, 90, and 180-minute ratings, these doors are constructed with reinforced galvanized steel and specialized cores like mineral wool or honeycomb. They are essential for protecting egress routes, stairwells, and mechanical rooms in any UL-compliant facility.

Positive Pressure (UL 10C): Complies with modern building codes requiring doors to withstand the outward pressure of a fire, preventing the “popping” of seals.
Hose Stream Certified: Proven to maintain structural stability even when hit by water from a fire hose immediately after fire exposure.
Temperature Rise Options: Available in 250?F or 450?F Temperature Rise ratings (measured at 30 minutes) to protect occupants in exit enclosures from radiant heat.
Permanent UL Labeling: Every door and frame is fitted with a permanent, traceable metal label identifying its fire-resistance duration.
Self-Closing & Positive Latching: Pre-prepped for UL-listed closers and latching hardware to ensure the door is always shut during an emergency.
