Description
Our BS Range of fire doors is engineered for maximum reliability in the event of a fire. These doors are rigorously tested to provide integrity (protection against the passage of flames and hot gases) and, where required, insulation (limiting the temperature rise on the non-fire side). Available in ratings from FD30 to FD240, they are constructed from high-quality Zintec or galvanized steel. Every assembly is supplied with a certified frame and factory-fitted intumescent seals, ensuring total compliance with building regulations for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.

Key Features
Integrity (E) & Insulation (I): Specifically rated to maintain structural integrity (E) and can be upgraded to provide insulation (I) to prevent heat transfer.
FD Ratings: Clearly categorized by minutes of protection (e.g., FD30, FD60, FD90, FD120, FD240).
Intumescent Seals: Factory-fitted graphite-based seals that expand significantly at high temperatures to seal the gap between the door leaf and frame.
Zintec Steel Construction: Uses electrolytic zinc-coated steel for superior paint adhesion and rust resistance.
Smoke Control: Available with additional “S” certification (e.g., FD60S) for enhanced protection against cold smoke leakage.
