The Rapidrop Fig. 111 Wall Post Indicator is a specialized fire protection control mechanism engineered to operate non-rising stem (NRS) gate valves through a structural wall or partition. Housed in a heavy-duty ductile iron body protected inside and out with a corrosion-resistant, fusion-bonded epoxy lining, it provides a safe method for operating internal water supply or section control lines from an exterior vantage point. The unit incorporates a transparent, impact-resistant viewport displaying clear “OPEN” and “SHUT” targets that accurately reflect the current state of the coupled valve. Built to interface seamlessly with Rapidrop and standard industry NRS gate valves, its integrated handwheel or operating nut can be secured to prevent unauthorized system alterations, fulfilling strict global fire life safety oversight metrics.
