Rapidrop 113GG OS&Y Resilient Wedge Grooved Gate Valve 4″ UL listed, FM approved

The Rapidrop Fig. 113GG is an industrial-grade 4-inch (DN100) grooved-end Outside Screw and Yoke (OS&Y) resilient wedge gate valve designed specifically for on/off master control service within fire protection piping. Engineered with an exposed, rising stem design, it provides immediate visual indication of system status (open or closed) from a distance. The valve is constructed from high-strength ductile iron, offering reduced shipping weight and easy on-site handling, with all internal and external surfaces shielded by a corrosion-resistant, fusion-bonded epoxy layer. Driven by a handwheel, fluid isolation is managed by a ductile iron wedge fully encapsulated in high-grade EPDM elastomer to deliver dependable bidirectional, bubble-tight sealing under low operating torque. The rising stem comes pre-notched to seamlessly accommodate an OSY2 limit switch for automated fire alarm control panel supervision.
