The Rapidrop Fig. 114GG is an industrial-grade 6-inch (DN150) grooved-end Non-Rising Stem (NRS) resilient wedge gate valve configured specifically for fire protection infrastructure. Engineered with a factory-integrated top mounting plate to seamlessly accommodate vertical or wall-type indicator posts (PIV), it serves as a reliable main system or sectional control valve where underground or encased piping must be safely monitored from an accessible location. Constructed from high-strength, lightweight ductile iron and protected inside and out with a corrosion-proof, fusion-bonded epoxy shield, the valve maintains low operating torque while resisting rust and mineral scaling. Bidirectional, zero-leakage fluid isolation is driven by a heavy-duty ductile iron wedge fully encapsulated in high-grade EPDM elastomer, ensuring dependable long-term life safety compliance under demanding field conditions.
