The Rapidrop Fig. 301 is an industrial-grade 4-inch (DN100) grooved fire protection swing check valve engineered to automatically prevent reverse fluid flow within water supply and fire sprinkler systems. Built with a high-strength ductile iron body and factory-profiled mechanical grooved ends, it integrates quickly into piping networks using standard couplings to eliminate flanging or welding labor. The valve features a heavy-duty spring-loaded clapper configuration faced with a resilient EPDM elastomer, ensuring a bubble-tight seal against a corrosion-resistant stainless steel seat ring even under low backpressure conditions. Its streamlined full-bore interior minimizes fluid turbulence and limits pressure loss during high-flow demand. Meeting strict global testing criteria, it is finished inside and out with a fusion-bonded epoxy layer to counter scaling and environmental corrosion.
