The Rapidrop Fig. 307 is an industrial-grade 6-inch (DN150) flanged fire protection swing check valve engineered to automatically prevent reverse fluid flow within water supply and fire sprinkler mains. Built with a high-strength ductile iron body and matching flange end connections, it bolts securely into heavy-duty commercial piping networks using standard mating companion flanges. The valve features a heavy-duty clapper configuration faced with a resilient EPDM elastomer, ensuring a bubble-tight seal against a corrosion-resistant stainless steel seat ring even under low backpressure conditions. Its hydrodynamically streamlined interior minimizes fluid turbulence and limits pressure loss during high-flow demand. Suitable for vertical (upward flow) or horizontal orientations, the assembly is finished inside and out with a fusion-bonded epoxy layer to counter scaling and corrosion.
