The strainer features an interior cylindrical screen made of durable, corrosion-resistant stainless steel that catches sediment without impeding water delivery during fire events. Maintenance is streamlined via an integrated grooved coupling retainer cap, allowing quick removal of the screen element for flushing and inspection. Finished internally and externally with a protective epoxy barrier to prevent scaling, it is designed for horizontal installation with the collection leg oriented downwards.
