Rapidrop 702 Flanged Y-Type Strainer with connection sizes 6″ UL Listed

The Rapidrop Fig. 702 is an industrial-grade 6-inch (DN150) flanged Y-type fluid strainer designed to intercept suspended foreign matter within water supply mains and fire sprinkler networks. Built with a high-strength ductile iron body and matching flange end connections, it bolts securely into heavy-duty commercial piping layouts using standard companion flanges. The strainer features an interior cylindrical screen made of durable, corrosion-resistant stainless steel that catches sediment without impeding water delivery during fire events. Maintenance is handled via a heavy bolted retainer cap, allowing easy access to remove the screen element for flushing and inspection, complete with a factory-installed blow-down drain plug. Finished internally and externally with a protective epoxy barrier to prevent scaling, it is designed for horizontal installation with the collection leg oriented downwards.
