Built with a high-strength cast bronze body featuring female NPT threaded end connections, it integrates smoothly into standard threaded branch lines or commercial fire sprinkler configurations. The valve utilizes a slow-closing quarter-turn handwheel gearbox to actively suppress potential line water hammer spikes within the piping. Fluid isolation relies on a premium 304 stainless steel disc sealing against an EPDM/Viton seat, delivering dependable bidirectional, bubble-tight shut-off under standard fire infrastructure working pressures.
