The Ravel RE-717MC is a high-performance addressable control module that provides a supervised 24V DC output for triggering notification appliance circuits (NACs). Operating as a remote switching device on the signaling line circuit (SLC) of Avani series panels, it allows for the integration of conventional audible and visual devices into an addressable system. The module features a built-in “Class B” Style “Y” output circuit that is continuously monitored for open or short-circuit faults, ensuring system integrity. It requires an external regulated 24V DC power supply to drive connected loads, with a maximum output current drive of 1A.
