The Ravel RE-717MI is an automatic addressable isolator module engineered to enhance the reliability and integrity of the signaling line circuit (SLC). In the event of a short circuit on the loop, the module quickly detects the fault and disconnects the affected segment, preventing a total system failure and allowing the rest of the loop to continue functioning normally. Once the short circuit condition is removed, the RE-717MI automatically restores power and communication to the isolated section.
