The Ravel RE-717MZ is a specialized addressable zone interface module that allows for the integration of conventional 2nd-wire smoke and heat detectors into an intelligent addressable fire alarm loop. It acts as a bridge, monitoring a complete branch of conventional devices and reporting their status back to the Avani series control panel as a single address. The module provides continuous supervision of the conventional zone for open-circuit or short-circuit faults and requires an external 24V DC power supply to power the connected detectors.
