The Shield S-A4011 is an analogue addressable optical smoke detector supplied complete with its standard non-isolating mounting base. Designed for integration into addressable fire alarm loops, the detector continuously monitors ambient air quality using an optical chamber and micro-controller signal evaluation. It effectively detects visible smoke particles from slow-burning fires while utilizing automatic drift compensation algorithms to adjust for gradual dust accumulation over time. The S-A4011 features soft-addressing, low standby current consumption, and twin 360-degree visible LEDs that switch between polling and alarm modes. Fully compliant with EN 54-7, it is suitable for commercial, institutional, and residential buildings.
