The Shield S-A4013 is an open-area intelligent addressable heat detector engineered for commercial, industrial, and institutional fire safety systems. Built with a single high-precision NTC thermistor array within a low-airflow-resistant case, the detector continuously measures ambient air temperature to deliver rapid fire detection in locations where dust, smoke, or steam prevent the use of optical smoke detectors. It operates across a 17V to 28V DC supply range over polarity-insensitive two-wire addressable loop circuits. The device utilizes an XPERT addressing card system or digital encoding, provides a 360-degree clear LED status indication, supports remote indicator outputs, and complies with EN 54-5 standards.
