The SHIELD S-A4014 is an intelligent addressable multi-sensor fire detector engineered by SHIELD Global for commercial, industrial, and institutional safety installations. By merging an optical photoelectric smoke chamber with an electronic thermistor temperature sensor inside a low-profile white enclosure, the detector combines physical smoke particle evaluation with thermal measurement to form a single analog value. This multi-criteria approach ensures swift response to both fast-flaming blazes and slow-smoldering fires while providing high immunity to transient false alarms caused by wind or atmospheric pressure shifts. Operating across a 17V to 28V DC 2-wire loop, the detector utilizes SHIELD’s patented XPERT card mechanism embedded in the mounting base for address assignment, features dual clear 360-degree status LEDs, supports remote indicator outputs, and integrates seamlessly into SHIELD intelligent fire alarm panels.
