SHIELD S-A4042 Dual Priority Switch Monitor Module

The SHIELD S-A4042 is an addressable dual priority switch monitor module designed to monitor two independent sets of potential-free contacts on a single plate. Containing two high-speed switch monitor circuits in one compact unit, it is designed for multi-point monitoring of critical devices such as water flow switches, pressure switches, and manual call points. Both input channels continuously supervise field wiring for normal, open-circuit trouble, and alarm states while using a fast-response priority interrupt facility to bypass standard polling cycles during alarm conditions. Operating directly from the addressable communication loop with low standby current draw, the S-A4042 includes onboard visual LED indicators for clear status reporting and simplifies field installation by reducing enclosure requirements.
