SHIELD S-A4046 Sounder Control Module

The SHIELD S-A4046 is an addressable sounder control module designed to power, monitor, and trigger conventional notification appliances along a fire alarm loop. Operating on an addressable communication network, this module interfaces external 24 VDC auxiliary power to drive conventional sounders, strobes, and alarm horns while providing full supervision of the output circuit against open-circuit and short-circuit faults. Upon receiving an activation command from the main fire panel, it switches power to the notification devices to initiate site-wide evacuation signaling. Equipped with electronic soft-addressing, onboard status LED indicators for instant visual diagnostics, and a robust physical enclosure, the S-A4046 provides reliable, controlled notification appliance circuit (NAC) management within SHIELD fire protection systems.
