The Shield S-C2011 is a low-profile conventional photoelectric smoke detector designed for integration into standard 2-wire fire alarm systems. Housed in a flame-retardant white polycarbonate casing, the detector utilizes a black labyrinth optical chamber with an insect-resistant screen to block ambient light and environmental debris. An internal infrared LED samples ambient air every 3 seconds, detecting scattered light caused by smoke particles from slow-burning fires. Operating on a wide supply voltage window with minimal quiescent current draw, the S-C2011 supports remote LED indicators, an optional flashing standby status LED, magnetic testing features, and full compliance with international fire detection standards.
