Description
The Shield SD-PRLVF-65 Pressure Reducing Landing Valve is a high-pressure oblique safety valve engineered for permanent installation on pressurized wet riser systems. Constructed from a premium corrosion-resistant copper alloy (bronze/gunmetal) with a flanged inlet, this DN65 (2?-inch) valve handles high inlet pressures up to 20 bar (290 PSI). It utilizes an internal pressure-reducing mechanism to maintain a safe, field-adjustable downstream outlet pressure ranging from 4 to 12 bar, preventing dangerous pressure surges during fire hose operation. It features a robust grey cast iron handwheel painted black, a 2?-inch instantaneous female outlet connection, and a protective strap with a padlock to discourage tampering, making it an ideal choice for high-rise buildings and commercial fire protection networks.
