The Shield SD-YS300FF-D Y Strainer (6″ / 150 mm) is a premium, Y-pattern pipeline filtration component engineered for permanent installation in pressurized water systems, commercial plumbing, and fire protection lines. Built with a high-strength ductile iron body and bonnet, this 6-inch (150 mm) strainer incorporates a robust, perforated stainless steel (AISI 304) internal screen that captures rust, scale, and foreign matter before they reach sensitive downstream components like valves or pumps. It features a flat-face flanged connection configuration compliant with standard ASME B16.1 Class 125 dimensions, and is fully coated inside and out with a corrosion-resistant fusion-bonded epoxy. Designed to withstand a steady working pressure of up to 300 PSI, it ensures excellent fluid dynamics, low pressure drop, and exceptional systemic durability.
