The Siemens DB721 (Part Number: S54319-B21-A1) is a standard point-detector mounting base manufactured by Siemens for its Cerberus PRO FD720 series of addressable smoke, heat, and multi-sensor detectors. Engineered for rapid installation and high contact reliability, the DB721 features spacious, heavy-duty screw terminals that simplify loop input, loop output, and shield continuity connections. It includes dedicated terminals for connecting an external remote alarm LED indicator for detectors placed in concealed spaces like ceiling voids. Built from durable, flame-retardant PC/ABS material in RAL 9010 pure white, the base includes an integrated anti-tamper locking tab to prevent unauthorized detector removal and mounts easily over standard electrical junction boxes or flat ceiling surfaces.
