Siemens OOH740 Multi sensor Smoke Detector

The Siemens OOH740 (Part Number: S54320-F7-A1 / Cerberus PRO / Desigo CC series) is an advanced multi-criteria addressable detector engineered by Siemens Building Technologies for complex commercial, industrial, and institutional fire safety networks. Incorporating dual optical light-scattering smoke sensors (forward and backward light scattering) with an electronic thermal thermistor, the detector uses Siemens’ proprietary ASAtechnology (Advanced Signal Analysis) to evaluate fire parameters dynamically in real time. Through real-time mathematical signal evaluation, it rapidly differentiates true combustion phenomena (fast-burning open fires and slow smoldering smoke) from deceptive environmental false alarm sources (steam, dust, welding fumes, or exhaust emissions). Operating on Siemens C-NET / FDnet addressable detector loops, the device features field-programmable parameter sets, an integrated short-circuit loop isolator, 360-degree multi-color LED status indication, dynamic drift compensation, and full VdS, LPCB, and EN 54 approvals.
