Simplex 4098-9789 Analog Sensor Base

The Simplex 4098-9789 is an addressable detector mounting base manufactured by Simplex (Johnson Controls) for its TrueAlarm series of analog sensing heads. Designed to interface photoelectric smoke, heat, and multi-sensor heads with MAPNET II and IDNet two-wire communication loops, the 4098-9789 includes heavy-duty captive screw terminals for loop-in, loop-out, and remote annunciation connections. It features wired outputs to power a remote alarm LED indicator (2098-9808) or an unsupervised auxiliary relay (4098-9822). Constructed from high-impact, flame-retardant thermoplastic in a clean white finish, the base provides built-in address logic, head-locking anti-tamper security, and direct mounting to standard electrical box configurations.
