Simplex 4098-9793 IDNet Isolator Sensor Base

The Simplex 4098-9793 is an addressable isolator sensor mounting base manufactured by Simplex (Johnson Controls) for its TrueAlarm series of analog sensing heads. Built specifically for IDNet communications loops, the base combines intelligent sensor mounting functionality with automatic short-circuit loop isolation. In the event of a wiring short circuit on the IDNet circuit, internal solid-state switches automatically isolate the affected wiring segment, ensuring that remaining sensors and devices on the loop continue to communicate with the main fire alarm control panel. Once the fault is cleared, the base automatically restores full loop operation. Constructed from high-impact, flame-retardant thermoplastic in frost white, it features captive screw terminals, auxiliary remote LED indicator support, and direct mounting to standard electrical box configurations.
