System Sensor 2020F Conventional Heat Detector

The System Sensor 2020F is an open-area conventional fixed-temperature thermal heat detector forming part of System Sensor’s Vision range. Engineered for small to medium-sized commercial and industrial fire alarm installations, the detector uses an advanced thermal thermistor element coupled with an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) to ensure rapid, reliable alarm activation when ambient room temperatures reach a static threshold of 58°C. Classified under EN 54-5 Class A2S, the unit is ideal for deployment in environments where rapid fluctuations in temperature, steam, airborne dust, or cooking fumes make smoke detectors impractical—such as commercial kitchens, boiler rooms, and workshops. Operating over a 14V to 28V DC supply range, the device features a low-profile housing design, an integral status LED with 360-degree visibility, support for an optional hand-held laser testing tool, and full LPCB EN 54-5 certification.
