Utilizing an advanced light-scattering chamber paired with an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC), the 2020P continuously monitors ambient air to rapidly detect slow-smoldering fires. It features built-in automatic drift compensation to minimize maintenance and prevent nuisance alarms caused by dust accumulation over time. Operating on a 14 to 28V DC supply, the detector features an integrated latching alarm LED and supports remote indicator functionality. Constructed with a low-profile flame-retardant enclosure, the 2020P mounts onto standard 2020 series bases and is fully compliant with EN54-7 fire standards.
