The Teletek SensoIRIS GAS is an intelligent addressable gas detector manufactured by Teletek Electronics for residential, commercial, and light industrial safety applications. Designed to provide early warning of combustible gas leaks, the detector utilizes a catalytic gas sensor element calibrated for high sensitivity to Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and Natural Gas (Methane). Operating on the Teletek TTE addressable communication protocol, the unit interfaces directly with Teletek addressable fire alarm panels, allowing full system monitoring alongside standard fire detectors. It features a built-in 85 dB piezoelectric buzzer for local acoustic warning, LED indicators for power, fault, and alarm conditions, a dedicated relay output for triggering automatic gas shut-off valves or ventilation fans, and soft addressing capability via the panel or handheld programmer.
