The Tyco Minerva MD601EX I.S Conventional Rate Of Rise Heat Detector uses two networked thermistors in a bridge configuration to deliver a fast response that depends on both absolute temperature and the rate of temperature rise. These detectors are ideal for areas where smoke sensors are unsuitable due due to environmental factors like smoke, dust, or fumes (e.g., kitchens, garages, locker rooms, canteens, and loading bays).
