The Zeta MKII-IB Isolator Base (Part No. 80-0908) is a specialized addressable detector base manufactured by Zeta Alarm Systems, combining standard mounting functionality with internal short-circuit isolation electronics. Designed specifically for the Fyreye MKII range of addressable smoke, heat, and multi-sensor detectors, the base continuously monitors loop voltage integrity. In the event of a short circuit on the addressable detection loop, the MKII-IB automatically disconnects the affected wiring segment between adjacent isolators, preventing the fault from collapsing the entire loop. Once the short circuit is cleared, the unit automatically resets and restores full power and data transmission. Built from flame-retardant ABS plastic, it features robust screw terminals, remote LED output support, and an optional anti-tamper lock mechanism for secure commercial and industrial installations.
