The Zeta SA-8301 is a standalone and interconnectable mains-powered heat alarm designed specifically for residential, domestic, and light commercial fire detection applications. Engineered for installation in areas where cooking fumes, dust, or steam cause frequent false alarms with optical smoke detectors—such as kitchens, garages, boiler rooms, and attics—the unit uses a fast-response NTC thermistor calibrated to trigger an alarm at a fixed static threshold of 57°C (135°F). Operating on a 220V–240V AC 50Hz mains supply, it incorporates a replaceable 9V PP3 battery backup to ensure uninterrupted protection during power outages. It includes an integrated 85dB piezo sounder, a large combined Test/Hush button, visual LED status indicators, and hardwired interconnect functionality allowing synchronization with up to 38 compatible Zeta smoke and heat alarms across the building.
