The Zeta ZT-MAINS-5 is a mains-operated photoelectric smoke alarm engineered for high-reliability fire detection in residential and domestic premises. Operating on a 220V–240V AC main power supply with an included 9V alkaline backup battery, it continuously monitors ambient air to register slow-smoldering fires while preventing false alarms caused by electrical noise or airborne dust. The alarm supports hardwired interconnection of up to 38 compatible units across a distance of up to 250 meters. Equipped with an 85 dB audible alert, a Green “Power On” status LED, low-battery warning chirps, and a push-button Test/Hush facility, the ZT-MAINS-5 mounts effortlessly onto an easy-fit surface mounting base and is fully compliant with EN 14604:2005 safety standards.
